Rites For KLINGAMAN

PACKWOOD - Funeral services for William L. KLINGAMAN, 68, were held Tuesday morning at Geyers Funeral Chapel in Albia with burial in McDowell Cemetery north of Fairfield. KLINGAMAN died Saturday evening at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa.

He was born March 1 1909 in Keokuk County, the son of Frank E. and Jessie ECKLEY KLINGAMAN. He farmed and lived in the Albia community more than 25 years where he was a member of the United Methodist Church and Legion Post. A WWII veteran, he served with the 9th Armored Division of the Army.

Surviving are one son, William D. KLINGAMAN, Mount Prospect, Ill.; one brother, Clair E. KLINGAMAN, Packwood; one sister, Mrs. Ruth MYERS, Kirksville, Mo.; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
