Frank DIERS, born Sept. 7, 1873 near Germanville in Jefferson County, son of the late Peter and Catherine BELL DIERS; married Feb. 19, 1902, Elizabeth CRILE, at the home of her parents near Germanville. Moved to Fairfield in 1942. Stroke fatal. Died about 8 p.m. last night at Jeff. Co. Hospital. Lifelong resident of Jefferson County. Home 102 S. Second St. Member Lutheran Church. Survived by wife, two daughters, Mrs. Edith BERG and Mrs. Esther ENGWALL, both of Fairfield; and a son Julius DIERS also of Fairfield; 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and a sister.
