Mrs. Anna Elizabeth DIERS died last night near Iowa City... Bur. Evergreen. Born Nov. 18, 1867 near Germanville in Jefferson County, daughter of the late Adam and Rebecca ROTH MESSER; married Mar. 6, 1890 Barnard DIERS who died Jan. 24, 1940. Lutheran Church. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Eva) COULTER, Iowa City, and Mary DIERS, Waterloo; two grandsons, and a brother, John MESSER, Fairfield. Preceded in death by husband, parents, two sons, one brother, and two sisters.
