Mrs. BAITINGER Dies In Florida

Local services are planned for Mrs. Malinda M. BAITINGER, 80, who died Friday in Miami, Beach, Fla. Mrs. BAITINGER was a former Fairfield resident. Her husband, Lewis T. BAITINGER, proceded (sic) her in death in 1945.

The body, accompanied by two sons, will arrive Tuesday at the Weston Behner Funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements have not been completed.

Grave Rites On Wednesday For Mrs. BAITINGER

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. for Mrs. Malinda M. BAITINGER, former Jefferson county resident who died Friday, Jan. 17, at Miami, Fla.

The services will be in charge of the Rev. Francis Henricksen. The Rosary will be recited at the Weston Behner funeral home tonight at 8 p.m.

Services were held at Miami, Fla, before the casket was shipped to Fairfield for burial. shipped to Fairfield for burial. (sic)

Mrs. Malinda M. BAITINGER, 80 was born Nov. 26, 1884, in Ottumwa, the daughter of John and Mary ROACH McDERMOTT. She was reared and educated in Ottumwa, and taught schools in that city and Wapello county.

In June, 1910, she was united in marriage to Lewis T. BAITINGER. They lived in East Pleasant Plain for a number of years where he operated a general store. Her husband died in August, 1945, and since then she has made her home with her children in Miami.

Mrs. BAITINGER is survived by the following children: Mrs. Rita KESSEL, Norbert BAITINGER and Ambrose BAITINGER, all of Miami, Fla.; Mrs. Ursula GARRETT, Riverside, Calif.; and Mrs. Veronica CONNAWAY, McLeansboro, Ill.

Eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and a brother, Joseph McDERMOTT, Ottumwa, also survived.
