Mr. ADdam KNERR, who died at his home in Walnut township last week, was almost a centenarian, having reached his ninety-sixth year. He was of German birth, and came to Iowa in early times. Honest, temperate and thrifty, he was very much respected in the neighborhood in which he had lived so long. Until a short time ago he was hale and hearty, but a fall brought on the disease which caused his death. When Mr. KNERR came to this state, he had six grown-up sons, only one or two of whom now survive.

[Ed. note: Buried in Germanville Union Free Cemetery. He also has another obituary online.]
