Joseph TEDROW Taken In Death

Joseph B. TEDROW, 86, retired farmer, died Thursday at 10:30 p.m. at his home at 901 W. Burlington Ave. He had been in failing health since last October.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral home where services are pending.

TEDROW had been a resident of Fairfield for 18 years. He previously farmed near Libertyville. He was born on a farm near Birmingham May 4, 1878, the son of Denton and Phoeba BROWN TEDROW. He was married to Grace CAMBLING Sept. 10, 1903. She preceded him in death Oct. 24, 1937.

Ten children survive. They are Mildred TEDROW, Fairfield; Mrs. Zelda WRIGHT, Selma; Mrs. Ellen PEARSON, Libertyville; Lloyd TEDROW, Manning, N.D.; George TEDROW, Fairfield Route 1; Mrs. Bertha FERRELL, Hedrick; Rayburn TEDROW, Selma; Brice TEDROW, Libertyville; Murl TEDROW, Fairfield; and Glenn TEDROW, Fairfield.

Also surviving are 29 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Minnie BALDWIN, Eldon. Three sisters and one brother are deceased.

(The TEDROW lineage intersects with the FERRELL lineage.)
