Ralph "Johnny" HARRISON

Ralph "Johnny" HARRISON, 77, of Libertyville, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 15, 1991, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Clark officiating. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery, Libertyville. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or donor's choice.

HARRISON was born Feb. 14, 1914, in Wapello County, the son of John and Cora BROWN HARRISON. He married Willa Mae ALLISON on May 29, 1941 in Memphis, Mo. She survives. He was a retired self-employed truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. he lived most of his life in Libertyville, where he had been a fire chief, water commissioner and caretaker of Fell Cemetery.

Also surviving are one sister, Edna ALLISON of Libertyville, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters: Merle, Guy, Andy, Bob, Bill, Bula KIEWS, Mary HERMAN and Jessie HUFFMAN.
