William JORDAN, 83, died 5:10 p.m. at the Nelson Nursing Home. Behner Funeral Home. Born July 26, 1883 in Jefferson County, son of Louis and Charlotte WEENIKE JORDAN; married Nov. 27, 1917, Mabel OMAN; she died Jan. 4, 1961. He spent most of his life in Jefferson County; residing on a farm two and a half miles northeast of Salina. Member Hope Lutheran Church. Survived by one son, Elwood JORDAN, R.2, Fairfield. Preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and three half sisters. Funeral Sun. 2:30 p.m. Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville.... Burial in the Hope Cemetery nearby....
