Mrs. John HERSHBERGER died this morning at 7 o’clock at her home in Brighton. The funeral will be held at the Lutheran church near Germanville Sunday....

It has pleased God Almighty to take into his kingdom the soul of our sister Mrs. Maria Cristina HIRSCHBERGER, nee SCHMADAKA. Born 6 Nov. 1837 in Hanover, Germany..... she came to this country in her 8th year with her parents.... 16 June 1857 married Mr. John HIRSCHBERGER who was born in Wuertenburg, Germany 26 Dec. 1829. Six children, five sons and one daughter, of which the five sons have already passed away.... she died May 9, 1902 at 7 o’clock in the morning. A peaceful departure of a peaceful and Christian life. Age 64-5-28. Leaves husband, one daughter, seven grandchildren and one brother. The eternal light in her dwelling place.
