Elsie B. GIBSON

Elsie B. GIBSON, 97, of Coolidge, Ariz., and formerly of Lockridge and Fairfield, died Monday, Sept. 6, 1999, in Tucson, Ariz.

A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Kent officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home.

Mrs. GIBSON was born Oct. 22, 1901, near Lockridge, the daughter of Charles Fremont and Ida WEST FOOTE. She married Frank H. GIBSON, Nov. 30, 1918. He died March 15, 1993.

The GIBSONs lived in Fairfield and Des Moines before retiring to Arizona.

Survivors include one daughter, Bettye VALCARCE; three grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruth Jean ZAPPIA; and one grandson.
