Rosa Alice FULTON, 92, of Selma, died at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Open visitation began as 2 p.m. today at the funeral home with the family present from 7 - 8 p.m. Memorials to Mount Zion Community Church or Fairfield Public Library may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 1206 278th Blvd., Selma 52588.
Mrs. FULTON was born July 12, 1908, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Elmer and Katie McCLOSKEY McCOY. She married Fred C. FULTON Feb. 10, 1944, in Ottumwa. He died March 23, 1994.
She grew up near Ottumwa and lived her married life on the FULTON family farm in the Mount Zion community between Selma and Libertyville.
She was a member of Mount Zion Community Church, Mount Zion Ladies Aid and Southeast Iowa Archaeological Society.
Survivors include a son, Loya and his wife, Linda of Selma; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathryn SUTTON of Washington, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Erwin, Vernon and Freeman McCOY; and one infant sister.
