The Brighton "Enterprise" notes the death of Christian BAUMGARTNER sr., in Walnut township the 13th inst. He was over 80 years of age and was one of the pioneer German settlers of Walnut township.

Admin. note: Died on the 11th per his gravestone. Buried in Hope Lutheran Cemetery.
