Mrs. Ida A. SHUPPY died yesterday at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield. Burial in Union Cemetery near Germanville. Born at Pleasant Plain Apr. 18, 1869, daughter of Jacob and Barbara MANNHARDT RIES. She moved with her parents to a farm near Germanville and most of her life was spent in Walnut township in Jefferson County. Married George F. SHUPPY March 3, 1887. He died in 1936. Her home was seven miles southeast of Brighton. Suvived by one daughter, Dora Lena SHUPPY at home. She is the last of her family, having been preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
