George SHUPPY, 78, died Saturday evening at his home east of Germanville. Buried Union Cemetery near Germanville. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris SHUPPY, born in Walnut township Sept. 2, 1857. March 3, 1887, married Miss Ida REIS, and they spent their entire married life in Walnut township and 43 years on the place where he died. Survived by his wife and one daughter Dora, also one sister, Mrs. Mary MITCHELL of Burlington.

[Ed. note: Wife Ida outlived him by 20 years and died in 1956.]
