Old Mr. Pfiefer, after a long and useful life, passed beyond this house to the one in which he placed his trust. Mrs. Pfeifer is left alone as the children all have homes of their own. But she too is in the evening of life and the years may not be many ere she will go to his home, and to fulfill the union of this life in which there was so much happiness.
