Margaret KREWSON dies at 81

Margaret Anna KREWSON, 81, 706 W. Harrison, died Wednesday evening at Jefferson County Hospital after suffering a heart attack at her home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland with the Rev. Naomi Lock officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Richland. Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the American Diabetes Association.

Mrs. KREWSON was born Jan. 26, 1905 near Richland, the daughter of Pete and Susie HAMMOND SPANIER. On Dec. 3, 1924, she married Lewis KREWSON, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Leo of Seattle, Wash., Keith of Richland; three daughters, Ruth MARTIN of Brighton, Betty HOLDER of Seattle, Wash., Joyce PARSONS of Birmingham; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene ROBERTS of Huntington Park, Calif., Laura Stephens of Ollie; six half-brothers and sisters, George, Verne, Kenneth, Jack, Genevia and Helen. A son and a grandson preceded her in death.

Mrs. KREWSON was raised in the Richland area, in 1969 moved from a farm near Fairfield to Brighton where she lived for several years before moving to Fairfield.
