Janyce Albayalde WINLAND, 10, 1105 W. Adams Ave., died Saturday morning, July 12, 2003, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant from injuries sustained during an automobile accident.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Callen officiating. Burial will be in the Wright Cemetery southeast of Fairfield.
Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Visitation for friends will be held noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the WINLAND family.
Janyce was born Sept. 30, 1992, in San Diego, Calif., the daughter of Jay and Emelita ALBAYALDE WINLAND.
Janyce was a student at Pence Elementary School. Her pastimes included sports, animals, fishing, music, art and putting model cars together. She played on the Copperfield softball team and was on a summer swim team.
Survivors include her parents; one brother, George Albayalde WINLAND, of the home; two sisters, Jo Anne QUEVEDO and Ghimie Ray QUEVEDO, both of California; grandparents, Cliff and Kathy WINLAND of Fairfield and Benjamin and Angelina ALBAYALDE of the Philippines.
