Katherine Ringhausen, oldest daughter of Christian and Elizabeth (Marks) Heyde, was born in Walnut Township, Jefferson County, Iowa, Aug. 22, 1855 and died at her home in Mt. Pleasant May 2, 1932. Married Lewis Ringhausen June 2 1876 who with one son, W. R. Ringhausen and wife of Cameron, Mo., survives, one son dying in infancy. She is also survived by two half sisters, Mrs. J. W. Kientz of Brighton and Mrs. Charles Weible, Mt. Pleasant. The father, mother, and four brothers, Phillip, Henry, Christian and William have preceded her in death. Bur. Forest Home Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. (L-May 6, 3-5.)
