Brighton Enterprise, Sat. Jan. 27, 1894 (2-3).

Philip Heyde whose death was announced in the Enterprise last week, was born Apr. 4, 1850 in Jefferson County, Iowa, and on Aug. 4 (year?) married Susie Neff of Henry County.....Wife and seven children survive, besides an aged mother, one brother Henry, one sister Mrs. Kate Rinshousen of Mt. Pleasant, and two half sisters, Miss Maggie Kientz of Merrimac, and Mrs. Annie Weibley of Mt. Pleasant.
