Violet C. ROLAND

Violet C. ROLAND, 82, lifetime resident of the Fairfield Community, died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson County Hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Behner Funeral Home. The Rev. John C. Wilken will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Violet C. ROLAND was born March 3, 1900, in Milton. She was the daughter of James and Mary PERKENS WIREMAN. Her marriage to Trevor S. ROLAND took place April 23, 1918. He preceded her in death Nov. 8, 1975.

Mrs. ROLAND had lived most all of herlife in the Fairfield Community and was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons and a daughter: Henry, Washington; James, Birmingham; Don, Fairfield; and Verda HALL, Fairfield.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jim WIREMAN, Washington, Ill., and Carl WIREMAN, Chillicothe, Ill. She was preceded in death by a daughter.
