MULINIX Rites To Be Saturday

Death came Tuesday afternoon to Dicy Luvina ADKINS MULINIX who passed away at the home of her daughter south of East Pleasant Plain.

Her death came at 5:40 p.m. after she had been in poor health the past year and seriously ill the past two weeks.

Last rites will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral home, with the Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Dicy Luvina ADKINS MULINIX, 88, was born Jan. 17, 1867, in Jasper county, Missouri, the daughter of the late Mathew and Rebecca WRIGHT ADKINS.

She was united in marriage on Aug. 31, 1883, to Joseph A. MULINIX who preceded his wife in death April 1, 1950.

Mrs. MULINIX is survived by four sons and a daughter: Jess, Pinedale, Calif.; Harry, Cedar Rapids; Jim, Fair Grove, Mo.; Ray and Roy, both of Alliance Ohio, and Mrs. Lulu TWEEDY, East Pleasant Plain.

She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 89 great grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three daughters, Nellie, Grace and Eva.
