Margarette CROSIER, 84, dies

SELMA - Margarette M. CROSIER, 84, formerly of Selma, died at 7:50 p.m. Friday at Parkview Care Center, where she had resided the past 10 years.

Born June 19, 1900 in Ray County, Mo., she was the daughter of Henry and Ida BELL COX. In October of 1918, she married Donald D. WHITING, who preceded her in death. In June, 1936, she married Floyd CROSIER. He and a son, Don WHITING, also preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Marjorie SPILMAN, 602 W. Broadway; a son, Clinton CROSIER, Slidell, La.; a sister, Laveda STOKLEY, San Bernardino, Calif.; a brother, Joe COX, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. CROSIER was a member of the Catholic church. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds with the Rev. William Sullivan of St. Mary's Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be in Iowaville Cemetery near Selma.

Friends may call at their convenience at the funeral home and memorials to the arthritis foundation may be left there.
