Floyd GARRETT Dies In Denver

BATAVIA, Ia. - Floyd GARRETT, 76, who was reared in the Cross Lanes community, died April 4 in Denver, Colo., according to information received by his nephew, Dwight BERRIER of Batavia.

Mr. GARRETT married the former Mae PORTER of Batavia who survives with a daughter, Mrs. William HORN of New Jersey; a son, Richard of Denver; two sisters, Mrs. Cleo GORMAN, Kirksville, Mo., and Mrs. Goldie GEBLY, Muscatine; and two brothers, Leo of Selma and Burdette of Minnesota.

Mr.and Mrs. Garrett celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Feb. 1.
