James CASADY (sic - CASADAY) died at his home in Penn township last Friday evening. He was born in Kentucky December 6, 1822 and came to this country with his parents and in 1838 moved onto the farm where he died. . . . .Funeral services held at the Lower Richwoods church on Sabbath, conducted by Rev. David Long.

I am copying this information for the benefit of genealogical research and am not related to said individuals.

Admin. note: James was married twice, first to Belinda SMITH, second to Augusta JOHNSON SPENCER. Belinda is buried with him in Lower Richwoods, and Augusta is buried in Salina Cemetery.
