MCNEESE

Harold McNEESE, 79, lifetime resident of the Fairfield Community, died at 6 a.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital.

He was a longtime employee at the Dexter Co. where he worked on the assembly line and as an inspector for a number of years. McNEESE was a 33-year member of the Eagles Lodge. His home was at 1100 W. Hempstead.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the
Behner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Hemophilia Clinic at Iowa City.

Harold McNEESE was born Sept. 16, 1903, in Fairfield. He was the son of Harry and Nancy VAN SANT McNEESE. He was married to Gladys BARNETT Sept. 4, 1926, in Moline, Ill.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons: Ruth NORTON, Yarmouth; Karol LEAZER, Fort Collins, Colo.; Karen PHILLIPS, Fairfield; Charles McNEESE, Fairfield; and Raymond McNEESE, West Burlington.

Other survivors include 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchhildren, two sisters, Gladys PARSONS, Long Beach, Calif., and Gail BARR. He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
