Danny Wayne GEORGE, 51, of Montezuma died Sunday, March 25, 2001, in his home.
The funeral and burial was held Saturday at the Jackson Township Cemetery in Montezuma, with the Rev. Boyd Sparks officiating.
Watts Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be sent care of the funeral home, 201 W. Main, Montezuma 50171.
Mr. GEORGE was born Dec. 21, 1949, in Anna, Ill., the son of Loren and Helen MASSEY GEORGE.
He received his GED in the Army, serving from 1980-88. He was a longtime employee of Malleable and Creative Edge in Fairfield and then worked Montezuma Manufacturing.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle SMITH and her husband Brian of Wood River, Ill., and Rachel GEORGE; two sons, Danny GEORGE Jr. and Michael GEORGE; and one sister, Linda BAUER.
He was preceded in death by his parents and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
