Jason Alan SHELANGOSKI

Jason Alan SHELANGOSKI, 16, of Birmingham died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999.

The funeral service was at 1:30 today at Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham. Memorials to Fairfield Babe Ruth Association or Birmingham Public Library may be left at the funeral home.

Mr. SHELANGOSKI was born Sept. 9, 1983, in Fairfield, the son of Ernest Roy and Katherine Marie RAMSEY SHELANGOSKI.

He lived all his life in Fairfield and Birmingham. He was currently a junior at Fairfield High School. He was active in Fairfield Little League and Babe Ruth baseball and was on the All-Star teams for both Little League and Babe Ruth. He was a member of the Babe Ruth All-Star State team.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Greg SHELANGOSKI of Fairfield and Steve SHELANGOSKI of Cedar Rapids; one sister, Lisa JAACKS of St. Louis; and paternal grandmother, Helen SHELANGOSKI of Birmingham.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Clifford SHELANGOSKI; and maternal grandparents Rex and Mildred RAMSEY.
