Lester L. DIMMITT

Lester L. DIMMITT, 62, formerly of Fairfield, died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 1990, at Manor House Care Center in Sigourney.

A private family service will be held Friday with burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is open at Behner Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to Manor House Care Center.

DIMMITT was born Oct. 14, 1927, in Fairfield, the son of Clyde and Eva MITCHELL DIMMITT. He lived most of his life in Jefferson County.

Surviving are three brothers, Glen "Bud", Clyde Jr., Robert, all of Fairfield; two sisters, Jeanette FRANKLIN and Rose Ann DIMMITT, both of Fairfield. His parents and a brother, Bill, preceded him in death.
