EAST PLEASANT PLAIN
Mrs. F. E. Berry, Correspondent

...Mrs. Frank KASHA (sic - PACHA) was called to the parental ZAHARRIS home Thursday to care for her Grand mother ZAHARRIS.

The many friends of Grandma Mary ZAHARRIS will be sorry to learn of an accident which befell her last week. While getting out of bed she fell striking her head on the window cutting a severe gash which necessitated taking several stitches. Owing to the loss of blood she was in a very weakened condition and was thought to be in a very critical condition. However she is somewhat improved and seems to be gaining strenght (sic). Mrs. ZAHARRIS is the oldest resident of this community if not in the county having reached the age of 98 years.

Mrs. Mary STAGER, Mrs. George PETRICH, S. Steve VAN DURA of Mitchell South Dakota arrived here Friday by motor having been called by the condition of Mrs. SAGER's (sic) mother and Mrs. PETRICH's grand mother, Mrs. Mary ZAHARRIS.
