MRS. JOHN BURKE DIED; LONG ILL
Passed Away at Sunnyslope Sanitarium; Funeral Monday at 9 O'clock

Mrs. Martha Rose BURKE, wife of John BURKE, passed away yesterday morning at 6:20 oclock at the Sunnyslope sanitarium at Ottumwa after a several months illness (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

The body will be taken from the home, 806 West Stone street, Sunday to Polishville to the home of her father Michael CIESIELSKI. Monday morning at 9 oclock the last rites will be held from the Polishville church in charge of Fr. J. Kopinginski. Burial will take place in the cemetery nearby.

Mrs. BURKE was born Aug. 30, 1883 in Illinois. She was a devout member of St. Mary's Catholic church. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Andrew of Chicago, Anne, Martha, Jane, Raymond Rosalie and Mary at home. She is also survived by a brother and three sisters: John CIESIELSKI and Josephine CIESIELSKI of Pleasant Plain, Mrs. L. D. FERGUSON of Omaha, Neb., and Mrs. Joseph MAREK of Chicago and her father, Michael CIESIELSKI of Polishville.
