Kenneth Harold SALTS

BATAVIA --- Kenneth Harold SALTS, 50, of rural Batavia, died at 12:14 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 1990, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Open Bible in Ottumwa with the Rev. Thietje Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery at Abingdon. Family visitation will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home. Memorials have been established to his family and his church.

SALTS was born Jan. 13, 1940, in Fairfield, the son of Ernest and Viola HARRISON SALTS. He married Saundra KINZIE Jan. 1, 1961, at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. He lived all his life in Jefferson County and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1958. He was a seed corn farm employee for Middlekoop Seed Corn Company in Packwood for 29 years and was a member of First Church of the Open Bible in Ottumwa.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Tena M. SALTS, Tanya D. SALTS, and a son, Kendall S., all of Batavia
