Mrs. RILEY, 42, Taken In Death

Mrs. Rex RILEY, 42, 707 W, Briggs, died Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital after an illness of several months.

Last rites are pending at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.

The former Clara May SHEPHERD, Mrs. RILEY was born April 18, 1929 at Drakesville, the daughter of William C. and Nellie WILLIAMS SHEPHERD. She had been a resident of Fairfield for 16 years.

She was married to Rex RILEY, Nov. 3, 1956. Surviving are her husband and three children: Kathy Ann, 11; Sherry Lynn, 10; and David Rex, 8.

Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: John SHEPHERD, Drakesville; Claude SHEPHERD, Ottumwa; Ernest and Finley SHEPHERD, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Dora WIGGLESWORTH, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Alice CROW, Oildale, Calif.; and Mrs. Beulah COOP, Fairfield. One brother is deceased.
