A. M. SNYDER DIES TODAY

Arthur M. SNYDER, 71, well-known Fairfield resident, passed away at 7:30 p.m. this morning at his home at 407 West Briggs street. No funeral arrangements have been made as yet.

Mr. SNYDER is survived by his wife, Katherine and a step-son, Raymond T. WEBSTER of Galesburg, Ill. He was born on Sept. 9, 1867 and is the last of his immediate family.

The family surname is believed to be "SNYDER"; certain obituaries for his parents' John and Harriett SNYDER inadvertently used "SNIDER" for the surname.

Arthur's obituary uses "1867" for his DOB year; an Evergreen Cemetery transcription used "1868", but the source for that isn't known to this contributor.

Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa. 2nd.082. The graves of John, his wife Harriett, and son Arthur who are buried in this same plot are not marked with headstones.

The subsequent whereabouts of Arthur's wife Katherine isn't known. Any clarification would be appreciated.
