DeGOOD rite Wednesday

KEOSAUQUA ---The service for Buena P. DeGOOD, 88, Country Lane Apartments, Keosauqua, who died at 8:14 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 1988, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Friends may call at their convenience. A memorial has been established to the Abingdon Christian Church.

Mrs. DeGOOD was born April 21, 1900, near Packwood, the daughter of U. S. and Mary Alice SCOTT WILLIAMS. She married Rollie DeGOOD May 15, 1920, in Fairfield. He died Feb. 16, 1969. She was a member of the Eddyville Christian Church, had worked for Williams and Hunting Manufacturing Company in Cedar Rapids, and for nine years at the Drakesville phone office. She had lived in Keosauqua for three years.

Surviving are a stepson, Kenneth DeGOOD of Peoria, Ill. and a step-granddaughter, Marita FULLER of Las Vegas, Nev., whom she raised in her home; four step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews. A stepdaughter, six brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
