MRS. SARAH LANE DIED AT 9:30 P.M.

Private Funeral Services Tomorrow Afternoon from Home of Her Son.

Mrs. Sarah LANE (sic. Sarah Ann ELLIOTT LANE; Mrs. George LANE) died last night at 9:30 o'clock after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon from the home of her son Everett LANE, 805 South Depot street in charge of Rev. W.C. Monroe. Interment will be made at Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. LANE was born in Ohio, March 17, 1841 and was 83 years 6 months and 1 day old at the time of her death.

The funeral services will be strictly private so all friends who wish to see her may call at the home tomorrow.

Note: Born on March 17, 1841 and died on September 18, 1924. A previous Evergreen cemetery transcription inadvertently used "1927" for the DOD year. Buried in an unmarked grave in the LANE family plot, Old.P.104, Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa.
