Harold SPRAY rites Monday

MOUNT PLEASANT-- Harold R. "Huck" SPRAY, 79, Mount Pleasant, former Fairfield resident, died at 1:05 a.m. today, April 29, 1988, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and the family will receive friends afterward until 4 p.m. Memorials have been established to the American Lung Association and the American Cancer Society.

SPRAY was born May 10, 1908, in Fairfield, the son of Anuel T. "Brigham" and Mary Agnes "Mayme" TURNER SPRAY. On May 30, 1937, he married Gladys CARNAHAN at Monticello. He was a pipe insulator for more than 30 years for the U. S. Government. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Masonic Lodge No. 8, Henry County Shrine Club, Kaaba Shrine of Davenport, and a longtime member of the Elks Club in Fairfield.

Surviving are his wife; a brother, Glenn of Fairfield and a sister, Bernis MARTIN of Palm City, Fla.
