Mrs. RIZOR Dies At 86

Mrs. Dollie C. RIZOR, 86, who resided at 1104 S. Main, died at 2:55 a.m. today at Jefferson county Hospital. She had been ill for three weeks.

Mrs. RIZOR was born March 17, 1889 at Floris, the daughter of Hiram and Alice CHRISTY HUFFMAN. On June 4, 1918 she married Frank R. RIZOR in Fairfield. He died April 18, 1971.

The deceased lived in the Fairfield community over 60 years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Hawkeye Rebekah Lodge 386, LEA and Canton, American Legion Auxiliary, Retired Postal Employees Organization, Naomi Club and National Association of Rural Letter Carriers Auxiliary. She held state offices in the lodges and postal organization.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Harold RINDERKNECHT of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Ernest WEINER of Rock Island, Ill., and Mrs. Willard MACY of Fairfield; one son, Frank J. RIZOR of Fairfield;14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill HUFFMAN of Eldon; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde McCLURE of Eldon and Mrs. Lillie LEPPER of Galesburg, Ill.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Services will be Saturday, 1:30 p.m., at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. R. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
