Hollis H. HUFFMAN

Hollis H. HUFFMAN, 78, of Kahoka, Mo., died at 7 a.m. today, April 30, 1990, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral home with the Rev. Bill HUFFMAN officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be 7 to 8 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville.

HUFFMAN was born Oct. 2, 1911, in Floris, the son of John and Mabel N. MOORE HUFFMAN. He graduated from Libertyville High School in 1930. He married Jessie HARRISON July 3, 1931, in Fairfield. She died Feb. 23, 1963. He farmed in the Packwood and Libertyville communities for 48 years, moving to Fairfield in 1979. He had lived in Kahoka the last six years. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Robert of Kahoka; two daughters, Phyllis MARTIN of Toledo, Judith FILBY of Urbanddale; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald of Batavia, Keith of Ottumwa; three sisters, Thelma SMITH of Libertyville, Dorothy McCLEARY, Wilda FERREL, both of Fairfield. A son, Glen also preceded him in death.
