Ivyl R. FERREL Rites Saturday

Services for Ivyl R. FERREL, 73, will be at 11 A.M. Saturday at the Behner Funeral Home with Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.

FERREL died at 8:50 A.M. Thursday, August 2, 1984 at the Ottumwa Hospital in Ottumwa. The family home is at 707 S. Third. He was a farmer and self-employed painter prior to his retirement and had lived in Jefferson County all his life.

Ivyl R. FERREL was born June 19, 1911, in Jefferson County. He was the son of J. C. and Anna MALLAMS FERREL. His marriage to Wilda I. HUFFMAN took place November 28, 1935, in Fairfield. She survives.

Other survivors include three sons: Victor I. FERREL, Fairfield; Paul A. FERREL, Iowa City; Philip R. FERREL, Fairfield; and a daughter, Marcene M. McCARTY, also of Fairfield.

Other survivors include; 11 grandchildren; four sisters, Elsie CRAWFORD, Esther STUMP, and Elaine BONNETT of Fairfield, and Erma STUMP, Colorado; three brothers, Lloyd ERREL, Fairfield; Bob FERREL, Arizona; and Floyd FERREL, Bonaparte.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
