Funeral services are pending here for Dean S. CRAWFORD, 38, former local resident, who died Sunday evening in California.
CRAWFORD was a resident of Pomona. Last rites are pending at Raymond Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
CRAWFORD was born Aug. 16, 1930 at Libertyville. He is survived by his widow; his mother, Mrs. Elsa CRAWFORD, Fairfield; and his father, Wayne CRAWFORD, Batavia. Two sisters and one brother also survive.

Last rites for Dean S. CRAWFORD, 38, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Ned Gillum officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
CRAWFORD was a resident of Palmdale, Calif. Word has been received here that CRAWFORD died in California about 5 p.m. Sunday.
Dean S. CRAWFORD was born Aug. 26, 1930 in Libertyville, the son of Wayne and Elsa FERREL CRAWFORD. He was reared and educated in Libertyville.
A veteran of the Korean War, he was married to Betty CLANCY at Las Vegas, Nev., on June 2, 1968.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Elsie CRAWFORD, Fairfield; his father, Wayne CRAWFORD of Batavia; two sisters, Mrs. Dixie SLADE, Commerce City, Colo., and Mrs. Donna SMOTHERS, Broomfield, Colo.; and a brother, Delbert Crawford of Birmingham.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
