Douglas L. 'Doug' LILES

Douglas L. "Doug" LILES, 52, died from a brain tumor at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon, with the Rev. David Albert officiating. The body has been cremated.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Harold Liles.

Mr. LILES was born June 10, 1959, in Ottumwa, the son of Harold and Carol DAVIS LILES.

Mr. LILES was a 1977 graduate of Cardinal High School. He had worked for Milwaukee Railroad and Norris Asphalt Paving Co. in Ottumwa.

Survivors include two daughters, Ashley LILES of New London and Melia LILES of Mount Pleasant; two grandchildren; his father of Eldon; and four siblings, Diana PECK of Fairfield, Dale LILES of Eldon, Darryl LILES of Eldon and Dawn BENEDICT of Agency.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
