Grace ODUM rites Wednesday

BATAVIA- Grace E. ODUM, 82, died Sunday evening at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery, Eastern Star services will be held at 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home,

Mrs. ODUM was born Oct. 31, 1901 in Batavia, the daughter of Elsie and Nettie SMITH, and had lived most of her life in the Batavia community. She was a member of the Christian church and OES, both in Batavia. Be married James (Red) ODUM, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Lew and Raymond, both of Peoria, Ill., four grandchildren; two sisters, Minta GOBLE (sic - GOBBLE) of Eldon, Maude NORDYKE of Batavia and a brother, John SMITH of California.
