Mildred Marie ANDERSON

Mildred Marie PARSONS BARNETT ANDERSON, 90, of Parkview Care Center died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2000, at the center.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Robeck and the Rev. Hoyt Whitebread officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Thursday at the funeral home, with family visitation to be held from 7-8 p.m.

Memorials can be made to the Parkview Care Center activity fund.

Mrs. ANDERSON was born July 10, 1909, in rural Salina, the daughter of Silas Delmar and Elizabeth May LIBLIN PARSONS. She married Kenneth Robert BARNETT Feb. 22, 1928. He died March 23, 1957. She then married Dale F. ANDERSON June 5, 1960, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He died Oct. 8, 1983.

Mrs. ANDERSON was a lifelong resident of Fairfield. She worked as a clerk for Spurgeon's and as a telephone operator until her retirement.

She was a lifetime member of American Legion Auxiliary and a member of First Lutheran Church in Fairfield.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat MORRISON and Wilhemina "Willa" NELSON, both of Fairfield; one son, Keith BARNETT of Dixon, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Rollie PARSONS; two sisters, Nerva PARSONS and Louise SWITZER; and one grandchild.
