David FELL is Dead

David FELL of Glasgow died Monday morning at 9 o'clock. He had been in failing health for several years past, and for three weeks had been confined to his room with little probablity of recovery before him. Mr. FELL was a native of Indiana and was in the sixty-sixth year of his age. He was an old resident of Round Prairie township, where he made his home on a farm for many years. His wife, formerly Margaret CASE, survives him. Their family consisted of five children, three of whom are now living, Mrs. W. FORDYCE of this city, Mrs. Oscar FORDYCE of Guthrie Center, and Miss Laura FELL, who lives at the old home. There were few men more generally known in southeastern Jefferson county than David FELL and none was held in higher esteem in the community in which the greater part of his life was spent. As a man and citizen he discharged faithfully whatever duties devolved upon him. His death will be very generally regretted. Funeral services will be held at Glasgow this afternoon, and the remains will be interred in Mt. Zion cemetery.
