V. ZILLMAN

Mrs. George A. ZILLMAN, 80, 501 Highland, died at 9:40 p.m. Friday at the Jefferson County Hospital.

The body is at the Raymond Funeral Home where services are pending. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Vera M. McCLEARY was born March 7, 1899, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Arch and Annie Sutherland McCLEARY.

She was reared and educated in the Libertyville Community and was a graduate of the Jefferson County Hospital School of Nursing. She served as superintendent of the hospital in 1924 and 1925.

Her marriage to George A. ZILLMAN took place Dec. 31, 1925, in Burlington. Mrs. ZILLMAN was a member of the First Lutheran Church and Eastern Star.

She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Myron McCREEDY, Houston, Texas; Mrs. Paul ENGWALL, Fairfield; Mrs. Harold JOHNSON, Albuquerque, N.M.; and Mrs. James ARCHIBALD, Casper, Wyo.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Stella HOWE, Alhambra, Calif. and Dulcena McCLEARY, Fairfield.

In addition to her husband who died in 1973, Mrs. ZILLMAN was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
