Patricia J. FIEDLER

Patricia J. FIEDLER, 70 608 E. Broadway Ave. Fairfield died at 9:52 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Mrs. FIEDLER was born April 8, 1932 in Liberty Township, Jefferson Co. Iowa, the daughter of Orville & Thelma HUFFMAN SMITH. She married James Paul FIEDLER, June 12, 1965 in Douds. He died May 9, 2001.

She lived most of her life in the Libertyville and Fairfield communities. She graduated from Libertyville High School and from Parsons College with an elementary teaching degree. She later earned her masters degree from Northeast Missouri State College in August 1985. She was a third grade teacher at Washington Elementary School in Fairfield and retired in 1995. She was a member of First Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Delta Kappa Gamma, Retired School Personnel and Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include one son, Andrew FIEDLER and his wife Sandy of Libertyville and three grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
