Mary Ann ARCHIBALD

Mary Ann ARCHIBALD, 59, of Casper, Wyo., formerly of Fairfield, died of a cerebral hemorrhage Monday, Sept. 13, 1993, at the Wyoming Medical Center.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service was conducted today in Wyoming. A local memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Myer officiating. Burial of cremains will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials have been established to Meals on Wheels and Casper College Scholarship Fund. Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. ARCHIBALD was born Jan. 31, 1934, in Fairfield, the daughter of George A. and Vera McCLEARY ZILLMAN. She graduated from Fairfield High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Burlington. On June 22, 1956, she married James D. ARCHIBALD in Fairfield. She was a retired registered nurse have worked in obstetrics and surgery in Iowa and Nebraska. She had also lived in Colorado and Montana before moving to Casper in 1964. She was a member of the Wapello County Genealogical Society.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Steve of Billings, Mont.; a daughter, Katy ARCHIBALD of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Joan JOHNSON of Albuquerque, N.M., Margaret McCREEDY of Houston, and Nancy ENGWALL of Fairfield. Her parents preceded her in death.
