WILLIAM H. MESSER FUNERAL THURSDAY

The funeral of William Henry MESSER, will be held at the Lockridge Baptist church, Thursday afternoon at two-thirty, with the burial at the Lockridge cemetery.

William Henry MESSER was born on Feb. 12, 1879, in Henry county, Iowa. He grew to manhood around this community. He was the son of John and Carnelia Messer.

On Dec. 22, 1909, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth SMITH. To this union, one child was born, Walter MESSER, of Mt. Pleasant. Ia. Mrs. MESSER preceded him in death in the year 1914.

On Oct. 25, 1922, he was united in marriage to Mary Viola JEFFREY. To this union six children were born, Guy, Archie, Harold, Elzie, Carrie and Kenneth MESSER.

Those who preceded him in death besides his first wife are his father and one sister.

Those who he leaves to mourn his passing are his wife, Mary and children, three grandchildren, an aged mother, three brothers and one sister, all living near Lockridge and Mt. Pleasant.
