Nina GRAF (sic - GRAFF throughout), Lockridge Dies

LOCKRIDGE --- Nina GRAF, 88, of Lockridge, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1988, at the Henry County Health Center, Mount Pleasant.

She was born Jan. 20, 1900, at Crawfordsville, the daughter of John and Bertha DeHARPER SPANGLER. She married Dillon F. GRAF June 2, 1926, at Mt. Pleasant. He died Sept. 25, 1987.

Mrs. GRAF taught school at Martinsburg and Crawfordsville for several years. She was a member of the Church of the Open Bible in Mt. Pleasant and the daughters of the Union Veterans.

She is survived by one son, Gerald, Des Moines; Betty ROSS, Mount, Lorna WESELEY, rural Lockridge, and Glenda BOTTORFF, Indianola; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eva CRAIG, Mount Pleasant.

Services for Mrs. GRAF will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Weir Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Mark Holt officiating. Burial will be in Lockridge Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials have been established for the American Diabetes Foundation and Henry County Heart Fund.
