Erma DOROTHY, 75, dies

Erma M. DOROTHY, 75, 508 W. Jackson Street, died Saturday at 2:25 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years.

The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in Glasgow Cemetery.

The daughter of John P. and Emma HILL NUGEN, she was born July 20, 1905 in New London. She was married to Willis LOVING Jan. 8, 1921. He died in December, 1936 (sic - December, 1938).

She married Chester J. DOROTHY June 29, 1943 in Kahoka, Mo.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Marjorie MADDIX and Luella KECK, both of Fairfield, nine grandchildren; and one sister, Nellie M. GARRISON, Fairfield.

Mrs. DOROTHY worked at Gaumer Drug Store for 17 years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and Bertha-Rex Group of Lutheran Church Women.

She lived most of her life in Jefferson County.
